Life Design Studio is owned and managed by a mother and daughter duo, Tan Yok Kheng and Ong Chia Yee to spread their passion in creating products with Malaysian elements such as batik and songket, and aims to make Life Design Studio an all-encompassing brand that promotes Malaysia’s culture. They started off mainly producing woven bookmarks and batik & songket cards. Eversince the covid-19 pandemic, the brand has varied their products to include antibacterial multipurpose wear, face masks and mask extender with batik weaving and embroidery. In 2020, they obtained the handicraft certificate from Perbadanan Kemajuan Kraftangan Malaysia.
